Genoa is an ideal spot for weddings and other gatherings

Indoors or out, Genoa is a picturesque place for a wedding, anniversary, birthday party, or other gathering. Genoa offers an indoor hall with optional kitchen add-on, a small church, and two outdoor parks.

  • Genoa Town Hall: Capacity = 240 chairs only, 120 seated at tables
  • Genoa Town Church: Capacity = 80
  • Genoa Town Park: Capacity = 500

Genoa Town Hall
Town Hall
Built in 1886 as the Raycraft Dance Hall, this structure was purchased from Annie Raycraft in 1941 by the Town of Genoa. Rental of the Town Kitchen, located at the rear of the Town Office building next door, can be added on to rental of the Town Hall for an additional fee. The Town Kitchen is not available through the months of August and September as it is used for Candy Making for our annual Genoa Candy Dance.

After the fire that destroyed many downtown buildings, the Genoa Town Church building was rebuilt in 1910 with donated materials and volunteer labor.

Genoa Town Park
Town Park
The smaller of the two parks in Genoa, the Genoa Town Park is located on Nixon Street, across from the Genoa Town Church. The Town Park has an upper and lower grass area, pergola, basketball court, restrooms, and playground and picnic area. The Town Park is open to the public and available for special events rentals.

Genoa Package Rental
A package rental which includes use of the Genoa Town Church or Town Park plus the Town Hall and Kitchen is available. Contact the Town Office for more information. The Town Kitchen is not available for rental through the months of August and September as it is used for Candy Making for our annual Genoa Candy Dance.
