The original Genoa Candy Dance and Dinner was held in 1919 to raise funds for the purchase of street lights for Genoa. Over the past century, the event has continued to grow, but it still serves the same function of financially supporting the Town of Genoa. What makes this event so special is the community involvement that powers this event through volunteerism and sponsorship.
