Candy Makers Wanted!

The Town of Genoa and the 2007 Candy Dance planning committee invite interested volunteers to help make 4000 pounds of candy for the 87th Annual Genoa Candy Dance. No experience is needed – veteran candy makers will show you how Genoa’s famous homemade candy is made and help you get started. Whether you volunteer for an hour or many hours, your help will be appreciated. All are welcome! Support your community, meet and socialize with old and new friends, and help continue a historic Genoa tradition!

Candy making begins in August, and continues through September (or until all the needed candy is made). The is schedule noted at the bottom of the page.

All candy making is done in the kitchen at the Genoa Town Office. To volunteer, or for more information about candy making, contact the Genoa Town Office, (775) 782-8696.
